Timothée Chalamet: No Album Plans After His Bob Dylan Role
Thu Dec 12 2024
Timothée Chalamet, known for his outstanding performance in "A Complete Unknown" as Bob Dylan, has no plans to release his own album anytime soon. Despite his impressive guitar skills and vocals in the movie, Chalamet laughed off the idea when asked at the film's premiere. He credits co-star Edward Norton for encouraging him to sing live during filming, which wasn't the initial plan. Monica Barbaro, who plays Joan Baez, also shared her experience singing with Chalamet for the first time. Neither of them is eager to release their own albums, but they both enjoy their musical hobbies. The movie, directed by James Mangold, showcases Dylan's early career. Producer Fred Berger recalled Chalamet's musical progress over six years, highlighting his dedication. Boyd Holbrook, who plays Johnny Cash, initially auditioned for other roles but was convinced by Mangold to take on the part. "A Complete Unknown" hits theaters on December 25.
