Tiny Time & Weather on Chromecast Screens: A Shrinking Issue

Lately, Chromecast users have spotted a peculiar change. The time and weather display on their Ambient Mode screens have shrunk to a size that's hardly noticeable from across the room. Why does this matter? Well, many people like to quickly glance at their TV for updates. This issue isn't affecting all Chromecast models. It's mostly happening with older devices, like the 1st to 3rd gen Chromecasts and the Ultra. Interestingly, this isn't due to a software update but likely a change on Google's servers. So, tinkering with the settings in the Google Home app won't fix it. The clock and weather are now about the size of the tiny image credits at the bottom. This certainly messes with the usual Ambient Mode look, which was otherwise fine. It's clear this is a bug, and hopefully, Google will sort it out soon. The bright side? Chromecast with Google TV and Google TV Streamer users aren't facing this problem.
