As regional tournaments loom in just over two weeks, teams are sharpening their skills to vie for the state title.
To spotlight individual talent, a list of standout players from every graduating class has been compiled.
These 13 athletes are considered the best in the state, and fans can still add names to the mix by sending an email with details before midnight on May 15.
The nominees come from schools all over Michigan, showcasing the wide reach of the sport.
Key names include Quinn Burns from Saline and Noah Jenkins from Hudsonville, who are both known for their powerful spikes.
Other notable players feature Seth Jenkins, also of Hudsonville, and Quinn Cochran from Jenison, each bringing unique skills to their teams.
The list continues with Max Davidson of Lowell, Maddox Krugler and Caleb Cryst from Grand Haven, and Charlie Engelhardt of Farmington.
Lakeland’s Zachary Dobrin, Northville’s Julian Janisse and Jude Butler, as well as Matthew Lefever from Macomb Dakota, round out the group.
