Hudson Joseph Meek, a 16-year-old actor from Vestavia Hills, Alabama, died after an accident on December 19. He was in a moving car and somehow fell out, suffering serious injuries. Two days later, on December 21, he passed away. His mother, Lani Wells Meek, shared the sad news on Facebook. The Vestavia Hills Police Department is looking into what happened. Hudson was known for his role as Young Baby in the movie "Baby Driver, " which was nominated for three Oscars. He also acted in the TV show "MacGyver" and did voiceover work for brands like Toys R Us and McDonald's. Hudson was a busy student at Vestavia Hills High School. He played football, sang in the Honor Choir, and was part of the student government. Outside of school, he loved scuba diving and had visited all 50 states by the age of 14. His obituary described him as confident, quick-witted, and always ready for a laugh. He's survived by his parents, brother, grandmothers, and other family members. A celebration of his life will be held at Dawson Memorial Baptist Church in Homewood, Alabama. The service will be livestreamed on his Instagram account and his mother's Facebook page. Hudson's family has set up the Hudson J. Meek Memorial Scholarship for students at his high school. They're asking for donations instead of flowers.
