Trinity Rodman, Soccer Star, Rejects Dad Dennis Rodman’s Apology

Trinity Rodman, a pro soccer player for Washington Spirit and the USWNT, isn’t having it with her dad, Dennis Rodman’s, half-hearted apology. After sharing her story about their troubled relationship on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, Trinity called her dad’s public apology a big “joke. ” On Instagram, she wrote, “Nice repost, ” and said she was done with it. During the podcast, Trinity opened up about growing up with an absent dad. She even lived in a Ford Expedition for a while, because her dad’s partying lifestyle wasn’t suitable for her and her brother. Trinity called her dad “an alcoholic” and said she lost hope for a reconciliation after he didn’t follow up on a surprise visit to her game in 2021. Dennis Rodman, a former NBA champ, tried to set things right with a public apology on Instagram. He said he’s been trying to connect with Trinity but has faced roadblocks. He even flew to watch her play but was told not to show up. Trinity isn’t buying it, though. She’s not interested in his attempts to mend their relationship, especially when it feels like he’s just seeking attention. Rodman has three kids from two marriages. Besides Trinity, there’s her brother, Dennis Rodman Jr. , and daughter Alexis from his first marriage.
