He even met with Trump in New York. Trump made a bold claim about the amount of money the U. S. has given to Ukraine. He said it was $350 billion. This is way off. The actual amount is around $175 billion to $185 billion. Ukraine Oversight, a website run by the special inspector general for Operation Atlantic Resolve, reported that as of September 30, 2024, the U. S. had spent $183 billion on Ukraine.
