Trump's Faith: Is It Real, Or Just A PR Move?

USASat Feb 08 2025
Jimmy Kimmel, a popular late-night TV host, recently took a closer look at a recent statement made by the former US President Donald Trump and it wasn't flattering. You see, Trump has been trying to show that he's a man of faith. But Kimmel isn't convinced. He made a joke saying, "If anyone can bring religion back, it's the guy who sells 'God Bless the USA' Bibles for $59. 99. " Yep. He even made it clear that he was not trusting Trump's apparent faith. Kimmel also thought about how Trump might act if he were to meet Jesus. He guessed, "If Trump ever meets Jesus, he'd call him a loser and tell him to fix his hair and wear a shirt". This doesn't mean that Jesus would surely be a loser. Kimmel's comments were part of his recent night-time rant. He spoke on his TV show on Thursday. Kimmel's words might have been funny, but they also make people think. Is Trump truly religious, or is he just pretending because it makes him look good in the eyes of some voters? This is a question many people have been asking. And what about Jesus? Would he really be a loser in Trump's eyes, or is Kimmel just being dramatic that he knows Trump will say that? Kimmel is not the first to question Trump's faith. Many have wondered if Trump's talk about religion is real, or if it's just a way to win over religious voters. So here is the question: if Trump calls Jesus a loser and wants to fix his hair, what makes us think he is a religious man? But is this really harsh enough or is Kimmel just trying to be funny and make us laugh. Is that why he wants us to think of Jesus as a loser? If Trump does actually get to meet Jesus, would he really insult him with comments about his hair and clothes? The idea sounds ridiculous, but that is the whole point of Kimmel's jokes.
