President Donald Trump has grand plans for the Middle East, promising peace in a region torn by war. He wants to end the brutal conflict in Gaza, quell tensions with Iran, and support Israel. But his history and promises raise questions. Trump has always backed Israel strongly and wants to wipe out Hamas. Yet, his calls for a quick end to the war are vague. Trump's "America First" approach might clash with his support for Israel. He has a Lebanese-American son-in-law and is favored by evangelical Christians who support Israel. Yet, his unpredictable nature leaves many guessing his next move. The conflict in Gaza and tensions with Iran loom large. What will Trump do? His answers are far from clear.
