Vincent D'Onofrio from "Daredevil: Born Again" on Disney+ is another gem. He plays a crime boss turned mayor, and his performance is intense and captivating. It's a shame that genre shows often get overlooked, but D'Onofrio's acting is too good to ignore.
Matthew Goode from "Dept. Q" on Netflix is also worth mentioning. He plays a damaged detective solving a tough case. Goode's performance is powerful and holds the series together. It's a shame Emmy voters often overlook such roles.
