Two Israeli Soldiers' Ordeal: From Battlefields to Bourbon Street

The soldiers were in critical condition, with one needing multiple life-saving surgeries. The other, initially intubated, was stabilized after a few days. They were hit by a pickup truck driven by Shamsud-Din Jabbar, an ISIS supporter. These soldiers had served over a year in the Israel Defense Forces reserves. Their trip to the US was meant to be a relaxing escape. Instead, they found themselves victims of terror again, this time far from home. The families of the soldiers rushed to be by their sides.
