UkraineFri Oct 18 2024
The United States is sending Ukraine an additional $425 million in military aid to help fight against Russian aggression. This is the 67th aid package since August 2021, showing ongoing support. The aid includes a lot of different weapons and equipment. For example, there are munitions for High-Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems, along with 155mm and 105mm artillery shells, and anti-armor systems like Javelins and AT-4s. There's also support for air defense, including National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile Systems and Stinger anti-aircraft missiles. Other stuff like small arms, ammunition, and even training equipment is included too. The goal is to make sure Ukraine has what it needs to win. President Biden talked to Ukraine's President Zelensky about this and plans to meet with other leaders to coordinate more help.
