UFO Sighting: A Pilot's Close Encounter

Wed Feb 26 2025
In September, a US Air Force pilot had a strange experience. He was flying a Beechcraft 350 C over California. It was a clear day. Suddenly, something unusual happened. A dark gray, cylindrical object, about the size of a football, flew right under his wing. This object was only about 10 feet away. The pilot, known as "Troy 21, " was on a secret military mission with the Department of Homeland Security. He was flying at 20, 000 feet. The pilot was unsure if the object was a drone. Some drones can reach high altitudes, but they are not common. The pilot asked his sensor operator to look for the object on the camera. It was hard to see. The pilot was not sure what it was. He saw an object on the jet's air-to-air radar. Then, he saw another object on radar, 60 miles away. It is unclear if it was the same object. The object would need to travel over Mach 2 speed to cover that distance in a short time. Later, an air traffic controller mentioned a UFO sighting. This sighting was reported to the National UFO Reporting Center. This event is similar to a sighting by former NASA astronaut Leroy Chiao. He saw two cylindrical, metallic orbs while flying over Texas. The objects showed no visible means of propulsion. They were unlike anything Chiao had ever seen. This sighting was similar to a Pentagon report of a small cylindrical object flying through controlled airspace in Iraq. Chiao thought it might be a secret military program. But he wondered why it was flying where airplanes operate. This is a mystery.

questions

Is it possible that the object was a secret military drone being tested in civilian airspace?
Could the object have been a rogue football thrown by an overzealous fan?
How can the pilot be certain that the object was not a drone or another known aircraft?
