Ukraine's Daily Battle: Zelensky Speaks Out on Russian Airstrikes

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has recently highlighted the intense aerial bombardment his country faces daily from Russia. In the past week alone, Russia has unleashed over 500 guided aerial bombs, 660 strike drones, and around 120 missiles of various types on Ukraine. These attacks have been relentless, with Zelensky noting that no other country has endured such prolonged daily assaults. Despite this, Ukraine's armed forces continue to resist, and its people work tirelessly for the nation's strength.
Zelensky's remarks follow a night where Ukrainian forces shot down 32 of the 78 Russian drones launched. The remaining 45 drones failed due to electronic countermeasures. The Ukrainian president emphasized that these attacks happen almost daily, putting immense pressure on the country. He expressed gratitude to those aiding Ukraine in defending against terror and saving lives.
The European Union's new leaders, Antonio Costa and Kaja Kallas, visited Kyiv to show support. Kallas stated that the EU's goal is for Ukraine to win the war.
