The Viture Pro Neckband is a powerhouse accessory for XR glasses, available in two models: the Classic for $299 and the Elite for $399. The Elite model boasts more RAM and double the storage. This device acts as a content hub, supporting hand gestures and multi-screen viewing without draining your phone's battery. However, it's pricey and has a battery life of just four hours.
Last year, Xreal introduced the Beam Pro Android device, and now Viture has upgraded its Neckband with the Pro model. Both companies use spatial UIs—Nebula OS for Xreal and SpaceWalker for Viture—to create modern visual environments. The Pro Neckband improves on the original with increased CPU and GPU power, better battery life, reduced weight, and enhanced heat and noise management.
Setting up the Pro Neckband requires an iPhone or Android phone. The Neckband Remote app simplifies initial configuration. Input methods include phone tracking, hand gestures, and game controllers. Hand gestures, currently in beta, allow cursor movement and quick settings access.
The Pro Neckband supports video, gaming, and productivity uses. It includes PSPlay and XBXPlay for console gaming. The Vizard AI assistant handles voice commands and game guidance. The SpaceWalker UI supports up to three virtual displays and smooth follow. Ambient Mode allows multitasking with select content, like Netflix.
Despite its appealing features, the Pro Neckband's battery life and additional device hassle might make direct phone connection preferable for some users. However, for gamers and media enthusiasts, it offers a compelling self-contained experience.
