US President Talks Tough on NATO and Ukraine

At a recent NATO meeting, the US President shared his thoughts on Ukraine and defense spending. He admitted that finding a peaceful solution for Ukraine is tougher than he expected. He said, "This is harder than anyone would think. Putin is more stubborn than I thought. It's tougher than other conflicts. "
During the press conference, a journalist from Ukraine asked if the US would send Patriot missiles to Ukraine. The President showed interest in her personal story, asking about her husband who is fighting in Ukraine. He then talked about Ukraine's request for air defense systems. He mentioned that these systems are in high demand and the US needs them too. He did not promise to send them but said they would try to make some available.
The President ended by wishing the journalist and her husband good luck. He seemed to understand how emotional the situation is for her.
The President also talked about NATO countries increasing their defense spending. He called it a big win for the US and the West. He believes that stronger defense spending will make the alliance more secure.
