US Weapons Pause: What's Next for Ukraine?

The US has decided to pause some weapons shipments to Ukraine. This includes air defence missiles and other arms that were previously promised. The reason? The US wants to make sure it has enough weapons for itself. This shift comes after a review of US military support around the world.
The White House says this decision puts America first. They claim the US military is strong and ready. But, they also say they need to modernize their weapons for future threats. The Pentagon won't say which weapons are being held back. This is a big deal because Ukraine needs these weapons to defend itself.
Russia has been attacking Ukraine more often and harder. In June, Russia sent over 5, 000 drones to Ukraine. That's a lot more than before. Ukraine needs all the help it can get. The US has been asking other countries to step up and provide weapons. Germany is thinking about sending Taurus cruise missiles. But, they don't want to get directly involved in the war.
The Taurus missiles are similar to others already sent by the UK and France. They can hit fortified targets, like bunkers. This is why Ukraine wants them. But, will Germany send them? And what does this mean for Ukraine's defence? It's a waiting game now.
