V10 Entertainment Welcomes Former Paramount Exec as New President
USAThu Jan 23 2025
In a recent shake-up, V10 Entertainment, the parent company of Vin Di Bona Productions, has appointed a new leader. Carter Skeath, who previously worked at Paramount Global as SVP, Sales, will now take the helm as President. This move is strategic, given that V10 Entertainment recently acquired the global distribution rights to America's Funniest Videos (AFV) from The Walt Disney Company. Hosted by Alfonso Ribeiro, AFV is currently celebrating its 35th season on ABC, making it the longest-running primetime show on the network.
Skeath's role at V10 Entertainment includes overseeing commercial and business development efforts. He will manage V10 Studios, V10 Distribution, and the company's library content. Beyond AFV, V10 Entertainment also distributes shows like The CW's Follow Me and Peacock's Blue Collar Auctions internationally and on FAST (Free Ad-Supported TV) channels.
Recognizing the long history and popularity of AFV, the acquisition could significantly impact V10 Entertainment's presence in the global market. The move also highlights the importance of experienced leadership in driving business growth and innovation in the entertainment industry.
