In a thrilling night of volleyball action, several local high schools came out on top. ROCORI and Albany both swept their opponents 3-0, with impressive performances from players like Ellery Ehresmann and Hannah Klein. Meanwhile, Pillager and Kimball also secured victories. Over at the ROCORI vs. Minneota match, the crowd witnessed a clean sweep by ROCORI. Ellery Ehresmann led the team with 31 set assists and a nearly perfect serving record. Hannah Klein was a force at the net, tallying 17 kills and 3 ace blocks. Albany also had a stellar night, defeating Holdingford 3-0. Brynn Panek and Kelsey Lobitz added to the team's success with their remarkable serving skills. Panek had 4 ace serves, while Lobitz had 1. Pillager faced off against Foley and came out victorious with a 3-1 win. Despite the loss, Foley's Kiley Lange impressed with 3 kills and a perfect serving record. Looking ahead, Tuesday promises even more exciting matchups. Elk River will face Sartell-St. Stephen, and ROCORI will take on Detroit Lakes.
