Wacker Wins 2025 Supplier of the Year Award from 3M

The award ceremony in St. Paul celebrated Wacker as the top supplier for 3M in 2025, a title earned after thousands of competitors were evaluated. The honor was presented to Raman Trikala, 3M’s Global Key Accounts Manager, and Ian Moore, head of the Consumer & Healthcare Unit. 3M’s selection process is highly selective: out of about 6, 000 applicants, only seven are chosen each year. In a speech delivered by 3M’s Chief Procurement Officer, Kelly Bysouth praised Wacker for its reliable service and the dedication of its team. He highlighted how the company managed complex shipping logistics to keep the supply chain smooth, underscoring the strong partnership that benefits both firms.Wacker has long supplied 3M with specialty chemicals, especially silicone elastomers and resins. The growing demand for high‑quality silicones—driven by new data centers and the AI boom—has increased orders. Some of these silicones are produced exclusively for 3M, showing a deep level of collaboration. Raman Trikala noted that Wacker’s silicone products now reach 3M facilities in Italy, Japan, and China, not just the United States. Ian Moore expressed pride in his team’s commitment to excellence and highlighted how this award strengthens the link between service and sales. He believes that when both areas work well together, it can directly boost profits. This recognition follows a previous award given to Wacker by 3M, confirming the company’s consistent high performance. The repeated accolades demonstrate that Wacker’s global key accounts team has successfully expanded the partnership and delivered top‑tier results year after year.
