Hey, tech fans! If you use CrowdStrike's security software and your company's asking you to upgrade to Windows 11 24H2, hold off for a bit. Microsoft's found a glitch that makes Microsoft Office apps crash after the upgrade. The problem's linked to a recent CrowdStrike update that triggers when its "Enhanced Exploitation Visibility Prevention Policy" activates. Luckily, it's not affecting everyone, just businesses using Windows 11 in managed environments.
CrowdStrike has already taken steps to limit the issue by temporarily disabling the troublesome policy and delaying the Windows 11 24H2 upgrade on impacted devices. Remember, this isn't the first time CrowdStrike's run into trouble with Windows 11.
