Walt Disney World Weathers Hurricane Helene

Central FloridaWed Oct 02 2024
Hurricane Helene is heading toward Central Florida, and Walt Disney World is making sure guests stay safe. Some tours were canceled earlier, but now they're back on. Outdoor attractions might have some changes due to the weather. Animal Kingdom tours like Savor the Savanna are still running. Disney's Typhoon Lagoon water park and mini-golf courses are closed for the day. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party was called off, but Magic Kingdom will stay open later to make up for it. The parks are getting ready for the storm, which is expected to hit hard. Walt Disney World is under a Tornado Watch and Tropical Storm Warning because of Hurricane Helene. It's important to take safety seriously during such weather conditions. Central Florida is already feeling heavy wind and rain as the storm passes by. Even though some things might not happen as planned, Disney is working hard to make sure guests have a good time despite the weather challenges.
