Weather on Google Maps is Moving, But Where?

Have you ever felt that Google Maps is too crowded with information? Well, the app is trying to fix that. Instead of showing the weather directly on the map, Google is testing a new spot for it. Now, when you fully expand the map, the weather info appears in the top-right corner. But if you don't expand it, you'll find it tucked away in the bottom right. The goal? To make the map look cleaner and simpler.
In the past, weather was shown over the map itself. Now, it's been moved to a special tab called "Latest in the area. " This tab slides up from the bottom of your screen when you need it. So, while the change might make the map look less cluttered, it could also make checking the weather a bit more hassling.
This new design is currently available in the beta version of Google Maps. If you're used to quickly checking the temperature and weather conditions on the map, this change might take some getting used to. But for those who prefer a less cluttered look, this could be a welcome update.
Google has been working on simplifying the app for a while now. They've already reduced the number of tabs at the bottom of the app from five to three. And they've added useful features like incident reporting for Android Auto. So, whether you're a fan of simpler designs or not, it's clear that Google Maps is heading in a new direction.
