Weather Swings: Warm Today, Cooler Tomorrow

This weekend in Eau Claire is going to be quite the temperature rollercoaster. Today, we're expecting a lot of warmth as winds pick up from the south and southeast. But don't get too comfortable because tonight, things are changing. The winds will shift west-northwest, bringing cooler air for Sunday. So, what can you expect today? A mix of sunshine and clouds with winds around 15 to 25 mph. That's right, it's going to be windy! And we might even see some gusts up to 40 mph in the afternoon. Temperatures will be much higher than our usual mid-60s average, maybe even hitting near 80 degrees.As for rain, there's a small chance of showers and storms tonight, especially in our northern counties. But don't worry too much, it should clear up pretty quickly. And the good news is, Sunday looks like it will be sunny again with dry weather expected for the rest of the week.
