In some higher areas of northeast Georgia, there was even a bit of freezing rain, but thankfully, no big ice or snow buildup was expected. At the airport, things were not too bad. Only a few flights were canceled, and about 9% of departures were delayed. The temperature hit a high of 50 degrees in the afternoon but dropped again at night. The next day started off dry and cloudy. However, more rain was expected in the afternoon. This weather pattern shows how unpredictable the season can be, especially around the holidays.
