Samsung is rolling out its One UI 6, which is built on Google’s Wear OS 5, to its Galaxy Watch series. This update is a big deal because it offers better health tracking and sleep management features. For instance, the new Energy Score gives users a comprehensive view of their health based on sleep, activity, and other data. The Sleep Apnea feature can even detect signs of the disorder and provide health suggestions. Plus, users can now create custom workout routines. The Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra were the first to get this update, but other models like the Watch 6, Watch 6 Classic, and Watch 5 series are gradually seeing it too.
Some models, like the Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic, are still in the beta phase, while older models like the Galaxy Watch 3 won’t get the update at all. It’s exciting to see these smartwatches getting enhanced features, but it’s a bit disappointing that not all models are benefiting from the newest software.
