When family turns against family
Glendale, Arizona, USAWed May 27 2026
A father in Phoenix is left grieving after his worst fear came true. His wife, who he once trusted completely, took their two young children’s lives before ending her own. The tragedy unfolded after a chaotic night in an Arizona parking lot where gunshots were fired at two people.
Around midnight, a man and woman were standing outside a sports bar when multiple shots rang out. The man, later identified as the father, called police immediately. He explained that his wife had arrived, fired shots at him and a nearby woman, then sped off in a gray SUV. The woman, who was hit but survived, remains hospitalized with minor injuries. Police have not shared her name or her connection to the family.
What happened next was even more disturbing. The father told police his wife sent him a text warning that she would hurt their kids at home. Soon after, he received a photo showing one child bleeding from the head. When officers arrived at the house, they forced entry and found all three dead inside. Investigators believe the mother acted alone, shooting the children before taking her own life.
Friends and family are struggling to make sense of the loss. Some describe the mother as a loving parent who changed after learning about her husband’s affair. Others insist she was never violent, just deeply hurt. Either way, their children—an 18-month-old and a 10-year-old—paid the ultimate price.
Police say they had no prior record of abuse or mental health issues in the home. This suggests the tragedy was not a slow build-up but a sudden, violent act. The father, who was unharmed, now faces a lifetime of unanswered questions.
