His good performance and his outlook on the future create a lot for speculation about his next move. To increase the squad, talks are ongoing between the Kings, Rockets, Heat and Nets. A few things are making the trade market thicker for Fox's market value. First, the teams making inquiries are in full force, having the budget space in 2026. The San Antonio Spurs have been looking to get Fox in their roster. The point guard, young future NBA players and a list of first-round picks will be brought to the table during his free agency. Victor Wembanyama is a big name and a prime asset of the franchise. Next, the Houston Rockets believe it is best to pursue their path with their core starting point. The squad will probably alsoretain Fred VanVleet. However, they do also have other players like Adams, Green and Tate who will soon have contracts ending. Lastly, there are Reed Sheppard a player drafted in the number 3 position, Tari Eason and Cam Whitmore who could be greatly improved by getting larger roles. The Rockets are sitting nicely in the west. The organization has an abundance of draft selections at their disposal.
