KwaZulu-Natal, Durban, South AfricaWed Jan 08 2025
Health experts have long been worried about men not using sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services enough. This can lead to serious health issues and even death, even though many problems could be prevented or cured. On the other hand, three things encouraged men to use these services: good healthcare resources, more male healthcare workers, and a positive attitude from healthcare staff. The study shows that men's lack of awareness and other barriers need urgent attention from the government.
