Why Not Extend Your Steam Deck Storage with a Great Black Friday Deal?

Amazon, USAMon Nov 25 2024
Alright, so I snagged a Steam Deck OLED this week, and boy, am I happy I did, especially with the upcoming Steam Autumn Sale. But let me tell you about the sweet Black Friday deal I’m getting on Amazon this weekend. You know those SanDisk microSDXC cards? Well, the 512GB Extreme one is down to just $35, which is almost as low as it’s ever been. And for those who want peak performance, there’s the Extreme Pro version at $51. Similar deals are going on in the UK – the 512GB Extreme is £35 (down from £42), and the Extreme Pro is £44. Or, if you’re okay with a performance drop, go for the 512GB Ultra at £29 (originally £52). So, why get one of these cards? Well, it bumps up your Steam Deck’s storage, and they work with the Nintendo Switch too. Even with my Deck’s 1TB internal space, modern games are massive, so extra room is a must. I looked into it, and the SanDisk Extreme seems just right – it’s better than the Ultra without breaking the bank like the Extreme Pro. And with this deal at Amazon, it’s more affordable than ever. But how much storage should you get? I’d say 512GB is just right. Any less won’t make much of a difference, and while the 1TB model is tempting at $79, a 512GB at $35 is much more reasonable. If you’re hunting for more Black Friday bargains on Amazon, we’ve got a guide covering pretty much every category.

Is it worth investing in the SanDisk 512GB Extreme Pro microSDXC card over the Extreme lineup, given the price difference?
Will your Steam Deck thank you for the extra storage, or will it complain about the bulk?
