Wildfire in California: Celebs and Locals Flee Homes

A huge wildfire has hit the Pacific Palisades and nearby areas in California. The Governor declared an emergency as over 30, 000 people, including many celebrities, had to leave their homes. The fire has destroyed more than 1, 000 structures and affected over 5, 000 acres. It started with Santa Ana winds on Tuesday morning and is still burning. Celebrities like Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt lost their homes. They shared photos of firefighters trying to save their house. Spencer's parents' home also burned down. Other celebrities in the area include Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Ben Affleck, and Jennifer Aniston.Celebrity chef Sandra Lee and actress Kate Beckinsale shared their worries on social media. Sandra Lee said the fire was close to her Malibu home, and Kate Beckinsale said most of her daughter's childhood memories are gone. Many stars, like Jennifer Love Hewitt and Mandy Moore, evacuated their homes and don't know if they'll be left standing. Travis Barker's kids also had to leave their home.
