Will Next-Gen CarPlay Hit the Road in 2024?

USASat Dec 21 2024
As the year winds down, Apple is facing a deadline. It promised that cars with the next-gen CarPlay system would hit the streets in 2024. But with just a few days left, time is running out. This new CarPlay is supposed to connect your iPhone to your car in a whole new way, showing your apps on the dashboard and controlling things like the radio and temperature. Apple first talked about this over two years ago, promising a deeper connection between your car and phone. But right now, all we have are some concepts and leaks. Aston Martin and Porsche said they might show off this new system, but with holidays coming up, it's not clear if that will happen. Apple isn't talking much about it, but they're still working behind the scenes. We'll just have to wait and see if next-gen CarPlay will make it out before the year ends.
