The Trump administration tried to halt the project, claiming national security concerns. However, the judge found their reasoning weak. The administration has been vocal against wind energy, calling it a "scam" and claiming it's unreliable. But experts say otherwise.Trump has been against wind turbines for years, even spreading false claims about them. He says they cause cancer, kill whales, and lower property values. But scientists have debunked these claims. Studies show that wind turbines do not cause cancer or kill whales. They also don't significantly affect property values. Instead, Trump supports oil and gas drilling. He claims it's safer for birds, but data shows otherwise. Wind turbines kill fewer birds than power lines, vehicles, and buildings. During a meeting with oil executives, Trump called wind farms "losers" and vowed not to approve any new ones. Interestingly, wind farms benefit red states the most. Iowa, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas are top wind energy producers. Iowa, in particular, has many wind farms that provide jobs and low electricity prices. Trump's stance on wind energy seems to ignore these benefits.
