Winter Storm Cancels Fun in Dallas-Fort Worth

Some museums, like the Nasher Sculpture Center and Perot Museum of Nature and Science, are waiting to see how bad it gets before making a decision. The Kimbell Art Museum follows the local school district for closure information. The Texas A&M Singing Cadets had to call off their performance at the Coppell Arts Center on January 9. This 100-year-old choir's show is now rescheduled. The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch Live show was also canceled due to weather issues. People who bought tickets can get refunds. The Irving Arts Center's story time event, JumpstART Stories & Art, planned for January 9, had to be canceled. It was themed around snow, but real snow got in the way. The next event is set for February 6. Some events are just postponed, not canceled. For example, the Henri Bendel and the Worlds He Fashioned event at Interabang Books is now on February 22.
