Wolves in Suits: DOGE At Work in Government Offices

DOGE is making a name for itself with some big breaches. Wolves in suits are taking over the government. A team for DOGE has a huge amount of sensitive government data. DOGE is getting into the data of millions of federal staff. This comes from the U. S. Office of Federal Government Management. DOGE is getting into everyone's personal data, including their addresses, Social Security numbers, and more. This is just one department DOGE is getting into. DOGE is now at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services as well. They are looking for fraud and waste. The agency has told the public about their connections. Two senior folks from there have joined with DOGE to see where they can save money and be more efficient. Musk, himself has questioned the honesty of the government. He believes fraud is widespread among these systems. He had tweeted onhis platform, X, after seeing what was reported. DOGE is making goals and catching fire. They have already canceled contracts worth over $420 million. Two leases were canceled. They’re pulling on DEI contracts. That’s the simplest way to state this. Not everyone is happy about this. Senator Elizabeth Warren, among others, have expressed concerns. They want to investigate. They want to hear about what sort of guardrails are in place. They want to protect American's. Sen. Ron Wyden from OR they stated too they wanted to hear a report about potential conflicts of interest and security implications. They are concerned about how this fraud squad is operating. “Musk gaining access to DOGE is an early sign of a “shadowy government” at work, Sen. Senate Minority Leader, Chuck Schumer believes too, " he said. These concern are not unfounded. DOGE is invading the USAID as well. Musk has stated without any sources, that they are too politically involved. This is without any real evidence at all. This makes people think of a radical power shift and of course some people are worried and speaking against it. The Democrats are getting involved. They are trying hard to find out what's going on. A bill was brought forth called the "Stop DOGE’s Intrusion Act. "This was first initiated by Jeffries. They have questioned Musk with a subpoena but it did not work out luckily they are trying again. People are concerned of the “fluffy” way the government works. The information is just not there. The government seems to not want to offer up anything. Elon Musk is calling the shots. He has gotten information from the US Treasury Office. He can do a lot with the data. He can review them. The Treasury office has given him access. Just like with everything Musk does it is creating havoc. There are a list of people who are required to approve these actions. Musk is not the only one that signed off. In fact, this has taken place because it was approved by Bessent who has been in position for a long time. While Musk had nothing to do with the history of the decision, in that what he is actually doing now. Musk is playing with big numbers.
