AI is changing the way we use words, laws, and faith. A well-known historian recently spoke about this at a big meeting. He said that AI might take over these areas because they all depend on language. Humans have always used words to work together and build societies. But now, AI can also use words to do the same thing.
The historian pointed out that religions, laws, and even money systems are based on words. If AI can understand and use words better than humans, it might control these areas. For example, AI could interpret religious texts better than humans. It could also make laws or handle money.
But not everyone agrees with this view. A professor said that talking about AI taking over shifts the blame away from the people who make AI. She argued that AI is just a tool, and the real problem is how people use it. She also said that AI is not as smart as it seems. It can mimic professionals, but it doesn't really understand like humans do.
The historian warned that leaders need to act now to control AI. He said that if they wait, others will decide how AI is used. The professor agreed that AI can be risky. She said people trust AI too much and might start believing what it says without questioning it.
