Xbox Game Pass in 2024: New Games, Big Changes

Redmond, WA, USAWed Nov 06 2024
Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass is shaking things up in 2024. For a single monthly fee, you can play a huge variety of games without buying each one separately. Sounds great, right? Well, like any subscription service, there are some downsides. Games come and go, so you never fully own them. But don't worry, Microsoft is keeping the service fresh by adding new titles. One exciting addition is Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, a game that's been around for decades. And if you're a fan of Goat Simulator, you're in luck because the remastered version is also coming to both PC and Xbox versions of Game Pass. And the best part? These games will be available on the very first day of their release. No waiting around! But, there's a catch. Some games are leaving the service on November 15th. Games like Persona 5 Tactica and Somerville will no longer be available. It's a bit of a bummer, but that's the trade-off with a subscription service. You get to try lots of games, but you don't get to keep them forever. Microsoft is really stepping up their game. With the acquisition of Activision-Blizzard, Game Pass is getting even more high-quality games. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is one of the recent additions, bringing with it a massive fan base. And get this, Metal Gear Slug Tactics and Starcraft's single-player modes are coming on November 5th. It's a gaming party!
