Ye's Controversial Shirts Spark Action

Shirts sporting a swastika are no longer for sale through a certain website.
Big News. Ye's online store was abruptly taken offline after selling controversial items.
The reason? It broke the rules of the platform it was using. The platform, Shopify, did not spell out exactly what rule was broken.
In their own words from a statement, it said: "All merchants are responsible to follow the rules of our platform. "
This action did not come for free of surprise. The platform's rules clearly state that it will take action to restrict products or activities that it considers unsafe, inappropriate, or offensive.
Ye's recent social media posts have been controversial to say the least. Just days ago, he deactivated his account on a social media site he had been posting antisemitic messages.
The T-shirts being sold by Ye online were white and featured a black swastika. A widely recognized symbol of hatred. This was not Ye's first incident. He has been known to make antisemitic remarks.
Ye has a history of making antisemetic statements which caused some big companies to drop him. The most famous one was a sportswear company. The brand name was Yeezy. In the past, Adidas was a partner in the brand, but the company cut off ties with Ye because of these statements.
Ye was a very successful figure in the hip-hop industry. He is notable for his fashion brand which he started with Adidas.
Cloudflare and GoDaddy, two other companies tied to Ye's online presence, did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
