Your Voice Matters: OPP Wants Your Thoughts on Security in Eastern Ontario

Did you know that the East Region of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is eager to hear from residents about their community policing services! They are kicking off a survey this week.
Imagine this, a unique survey codeand web address will pop up in selected postboxes in communities like Frontenac, Lennox, Addington, Prince Edward and others. People cangive their inputonline. Or maybe you'll prefer to share your experiences over the phone with a interviewer. The survey is open to adults.
So, what kind of questions can you expect? The survey aims to cover a range of topics, from community safety and crime perception to the OPP's presence and service quality. It's a chance to discuss how well the OPP investigates crime and enforces the law.
Participants' information will be kept confidential, so there's no need to worry! The survey will take about 10 to 15 minutes, and the best part: and all your time is voluntary.
The official release clarified, the collected data serves multiple purposes. The OPP's Business and Action Plans, Annual Report, and Future actions will rely on your insights. Giving the East Region a roadmap to work on.
The survey will continue until Sunday, March 30, 2025.
