Summary

120347 Salacia (provisional designation 2004 SB60) is a large trans-Neptunian object (TNO) and a possible dwarf planet in the Kuiper belt. Its diameter is estimated to be between 875 km (544 mi) and 800 km (500 mi). It was discovered on 22 September 2004 by American astronomers Henry G. Roe, Michael E. Brown and Kristina Barkume with the Hale Reflector telescope at the Palomar Observatory. The discovery of Salacia was announced in May 2005 in the Minor Planet Electronic Circular 2005-J26.
