Amir Arsalan
19th century Persian epic
Summary
Amir Arsalan-e Namdar is a Persian epic, which was told to Naser al-Din Shah Qajar, the Qajar Shah of Iran in the 19th century, by a storyteller named Mohammad Ali Naqib ol-Mamalek. Mohammad never transcribed the poem himself, but Princess Fakhr od‑Dowleh, the Shah's daughter—who also loved the story—eventually transcribed and preserved it for posterity.

/* English translations */ The facts, stated, are already stated and verified, in the previous two paragraphs, so demands for citations to confirm them, is ridiculous.
