Barbados is an island nation in the Caribbean located in the Atlantic Ocean. It is part of the Lesser Antilles of the West Indies and is the easternmost island of the Caribbean region. It lies on the boundary of the South American and Caribbean plates. Its capital and largest city is Bridgetown.

This reflects a contemporary view toward rehabilitating Eurafrican histories, which were formed by this intersection. The note about latin is a bit of an esoteric lore detail. It's because of Harrison's college, which was for awhile, the only institution that taught latin, and many elites went to that school, or were influenced by it.
