Johnlock
Fandom pairing of Holmes and Watson
Summary
Johnlock is the fan nickname for the hypothetical romantic relationship ("ship") between the character Sherlock Holmes and his companion John Watson as depicted in the BBC series Sherlock (2010–2017). Fan artwork and slash fiction of the two as a romantic or sexual pairing became popular on Tumblr particularly among young queer women, and Sherlock Holmes/John Watson remains a common pairing on the fan fiction site Archive of Our Own.

The ship Johnlock originates from the novels, not bbc sherlock, though it is very popular.

Phrasing
Added info in previous edit to lead paragraph as well
/* The Johnlock Conspiracy */Added that TJLC anticipated that the ship would become canon, rather than just stating that Moffat and Gatiss intended for fans to interpret their characters as having hidden romantic desires for each other
Linked TJLC in lead, per previous edit
/* The Johnlock Conspiracy */Bolded 'The Johnlock Conspiracy'. I understand this isn't the first mention of the term in the article but I think it's much more helpful to have the lead paragraph have a link to this section and for this section to have the term bolded as it's sorta a subtopic of the article
