In the Aimee Lou Wood incident, the end of the section read “SNL later sent her an apology.” There has never been any direct confirmation from the show that SNL sent her a formal apology or one at all. With TMZ claiming the show sent her no formal apology, context needed to be added to this which was why I added the part about TMZ disputing her claims. Wood’s word of mouth claim that the show directly apologized to her cannot be considered reliable and treated as a fact, and is only hearsay.
