/* Historical societies */ "commune" here is not used in the sense of "stateless society". The Black-led Reconstruction GOVERNMENT in South Carolina from 1868-1874 was dubbed the Commune in question here..
/* Historical societies */ No historians consider the early icelandic society to have been a "stateless" society, only some libertarians economists have advanced this bizarre claim
/* Historical societies */
Removed the link to "List of anarchist communities" since it redirects to the page for "anarchism"
/* Historical societies */ "Norse and Catholic" is a potentially misleading formulation - these were not two groups
/* Indigenous societies */ They have some form of country likely Republic with regional parliament with chiefdoms and slaves. does not looks like classless society
Undid revision 1207664660 by Tyler788 (talk) Cited sources again failed verification, as none of them describe the Kharijites as a stateless society. If you want to claim them as "anarchist", then feel free to do that on a more appropriate article.
/* Historical societies */ Add sect of Islam associated with anarchism including citations and an appropriate quote from a source showing why a historian believes this group should count as a stateless society
/* top */ rm dupilicating "Iceland"
Reverted 2 edits by Tyler788 (talk): Both of these additions failed verification, as none of the cited sources describe the Kharijites or Qarmatians as "stateless". Corm 2020 never mentions statelessness in any context, while Crone 2000 and Fiscella 2009 only describe pre-Islamic Arabia as a stateless society.
