It was released on August 8, 2025, through EST 19XX and Interscope Records, as the follow-up to his previous album, Mainstream Sellout (2022). The album was preceded by three singles: "Cliché", "Vampire Diaries", and "Miss Sunshine".

The music video was filmed at the Los Angeles Natural History Museum. There are a number of conflicting blog posts online that cite it as either New York or Los Angeles. I linked the map page of the Los Angeles Natural History Museum where there is a pdf of a recent map that matches the one seen next to mgk at the end of the vampire diaries music video (minute and seconds 3:03 to 3:08)
