Lets try one more thing before bowing out and leaving it as disputed. It's almost always called simply "Miami Open" even by the tournament itself. Only in the logo does it say presented by Itau. Planning your event, tickets, newspapers like Houston Chronicle don't really use it.

It is not a brochure name , the official name “Miami Open presented by Itau” is used on the ATP website : https://www.atptour.com/en/tournaments/miami/403/overview as well as the WTA official site: https://www.wtatennis.com/tournaments/miami-open

we use sponsored not presented. Presented sounds like a brochure and not an encyclopedia. Please stop with long standing consensus on the tournaments or bring it to tennis project talk if you want to change that consensus

Never heard of not been able to have a source in the lead. Please do not delete my wording, the PrESeNTINg sponsor is Itaú since 2015.

Undid revision 1350311216 by Fyunck(click) (talk) it is the name used and ATP official site : https://www.atptour.com/en/tournaments/miami/403/overview and the MiamiOpen.com site and the logo as well

Fyunck(click)4/21/2026, 6:01:38 AM

It has had many sponsors, but that is not even remotely the common name used
