Betfred Group Holdings Limited is a bookmaker based in the United Kingdom, founded by Fred Done. It was first established as a single betting shop in Ordsall, Salford, in 1967. Its turnover in 2004 was reported to be more than £3.5 billion, having risen from £550 million in 2003 and has continued to grow to over £10 billion in 2018–2019. Following a drop in 2020 and 2021 as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, published turnover for the year to September 2022 was £8.8 billion.
