Turner Entertainment Co. is an American multimedia company founded by Ted Turner on August 4, 1986. It was largely responsible for holding the copyrights of, and overseeing, the Turner Broadcasting System (TBS) library for worldwide distribution. Since the dissolution of TBS in 2019, it has operated as a subsidiary of Warner Bros.
