redir, to go along with Traditional Irish music, etc.
- Star-spangled BannerCreated 5/30/2025, 2:47:50 PM
capitalization styles after a hyphen in titles vary
- BarrymoresCreated 5/30/2025, 2:31:35 PM
They're more often referred to as the Barrymores than any other way.
- Tara RecordsCreated 5/29/2025, 8:45:26 AM
How was this missing? This label is best known by this name and has only been using "Tara Music" for a few years.
- Oxford, Cambridge, and RSA ExaminationsCreated 5/28/2025, 1:21:54 PM
this redir needs to exist for any article in which the serial comma is the established style (which is more and more of them all the time).

"XIX century" isn't a style used in English any longer (still often in French, Spanish, etc.)

misc. cleanup, mostly of citations (needs more, especially missing authors). One citation is fake or at best mis-placed, and flagged with failed verification. Identifying the MOS:ENGVAR in use (American), and imposing a consistent date format per MOS:DATE.

misc. cleanup, mostly to remove redundant wording that's unnatural in English, add links to key terms, and comply with MOS:CAPS.

/* Young Turks */ This is not excessive citation in this context at all, given the amount of rampant denialism of the Armenian genocide by the Turks. However, that "stack" of citations could be combined into a single one with any of several multi-source citation templates, or just by manually crafting one (e.g. "").

various cleanup; needs more citation cleanup for complete and consistent citations, and in many cases better citations
- InflectionEdited 2/19/2026, 5:31:53 PM
Various forms of cleanup. The pool of regular editors of pages like this probably don't need me to spell out a litany of shortcuts explaining them. And made lead make more sense (sane sentence order, clarifications). Also removed a "Dubious" tag that wasn't relevant any longer and had become confusing (Hakka-related sentenced being objected to no longer exists in the article). And added a note contrasting Latin & Chinese with English (this being en.Wikipedia). Rm. contradiction. Cite repair.

Don't mix British and American English in same article; title of this one and majority of its text are British, so normalise to that. Cite & date cleanup.

citation overhaul (incl. fixing invalid cite, as W. Anderson source has no "vol. IV" at all); make text agree with sources, which it did not in quite a number of ways; add a few sourceable details; lay out the marriage & offspring dispute clearly; misc. cleanup; NB: a probable/approximate date and a circa date are the same thing, so "probably ... c. 1291" is redundant)

/* Plot */ Concision: there is never a reason, outside a direct quotation, to use "whilst", since "while" is also normal in British and other disalects of English. "Whilst" is simply longwinded for no good reason, and verging on both obsolescent and pretentious.

/* Certification */ Statements in our articles have to make sense in the future, too, and ratings schemes change over time (that being pretty much the entire point of the clause in question).

If after over 2 decades we don't have an article on that alleged genre, then it's obviously not recognized as distinct enough for there ever to be one, or for it to be encyclopedically appropriate to name-drop it.
