The National Weather Service has just made a big change. They can now issue heat advisories for Alaska. This is a first for the state, but it doesn't mean temperatures are breaking records. It's just a new way to communicate the heat's potential danger.  Fairbanks is the first to get this advisory. Temperatures are expected to hit 85 degrees Fahrenheit (29 degrees Celsius) on Sunday.
